HAMPTON - Robert V. Powell Jr., 76, husband of A. Anita Powell, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, Va.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at the funeral home. Grandma Nita,

You and Granpa Bobbie immediately became Grandma Nita and Grandpa Bobbie to us. You took our family in like we were always family. I remember Grandpa Bobbie driving the kids on the cheese bus to school. Most of all, I will remember his smile. He had a smile that lit up a room. We love you and we're there for you and the family if you need ANYTHING.
