Robin MITCHEM Obituary
She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Elmo Broaddus; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lee Mitchem; and uncles, Ronald E. Broaddus and Linwood R. Mitchem.
She is survived by her daughter, Brittany N. Mitchem; her parents, Jane and Jimmy Mitchem; a sister, Amy Mitchem; and a brother, Michael Mitchem and his wife, Lynnette; and a niece, Lauren Mitchem. She is also survived by her aunts, Selma Tremer, Sue Broaddus, Myra Mitchem and Elizabeth Rowe and her husband, Jimmie and several cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 21, 2010, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010, with burial to follow in Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Va.

Jane, Jimmy and Family - Your message was a complete shock. We all know how much Robin struggled through life, but we also all know how much love her family and friends always gave her. To Jane, Jimmy & Brittney, I am grieving with you. I really got to know Robin when she attended my Monday nite Bible study for over a year. She really had a relationship with her Lord Jesus and she shared with me her love for the Lord. She is at peace now and someday we will see her. When we do, she will no longer be struggling with earthly issues, but it will be an awsome reunion.
