Dear Tisdale Family,
Although I am now in GA, whenever I returned home to Garden City I would often see Ronnie. He always had a smile and an update on old neighborhood friends. He would also keep a look out for our Homeplace. We miss "Tisdale" in the hood and will forever keep him close. Our prayers are with the family.

Sympathy and wishes for peace to the Tisdale Family- Benjamin, Gloria, and Amy, we are so surprised and saddened to learn about Ronnie's passing. It's been many years since we've seen each other, but I remember growing up together and sharing so many experiences. Even when our paths crossed in later years, Ronnie was kind and friendly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, cousins, as you go through this most difficult time. May God continue to be with you all. Love.

Peace and Blessings to the Tisdale Family. I was sadden to hear that my friend has gone. We became friends trading bologna and peanut butter sandwiiches at George Wythe. A few of those balls you couldn't outrun him for at the ball park he gave to me. I will miss him greatly. No more giving him a ride home from Fresb Pride. No more hearing him ask for a ball or two at The Dollar store. No more leaving a little something at the 7-Eleven when I could not find him. No more talking about the Lord with him. Farewell my friend until we meet again.

TO THE TISDALE FAMILY
OVER THE YEARS I HAVE SPENT WONDERFUL MOMENTS TALKING WITH RONNIE ABOUT SO MANY THINGS. ON HOLIDAYS I WOULD SEARCH FOR HIM AND BE SURE THAT HE WAS OKAY. THIS HOLIDAY I SEARCHED AND SEARCHED FOR HIM AND FINALLY WAS TOLD THAT HE IS WITH CHRIST. I KNOW THAT WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT HE IS DANCING AROUND HEAVEN EVEN AS I WRITE THIS. REGARDLESS OF ALL HIS TRIALS AND TEST, HIS HEART WAS ENCLOSED IN GOD'S HEART AND HE RAN THE RACE AND CAN REST NOW. I AM SADDENED BUT I AM EVEN MORE EXCITED THAT ONE DAY I WILL BE ABLE TO LAUGH AND ACT SILLY WITH HIM ONCE AGAIN.

To the Tisdale family, words seem inadequate to express the sadness I felt when I recently learned of Ronnie’s death. He brought so many gifts to life. I will never forget him! When I ride through Garden City by the ball park, pass by the old George Wythe school site, or go to Farm Fresh, he will always be there. I share comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. I will keep you all in constant pray.

To learn that Ronnie passed away saddens me deeply. I most remember Ronnie from when we used to go to the ball park and chase foul balls. Ronnie was always the fastest runner and would get to the balls first. He loved to run. He would laugh and we all knew running made Ronnie feel so good. Over the most recent years everytime I came home I would see Ronnie sitting out front of the stores at the Wthye. We would always talk. He would tell me everything that had happened since the last time I had been home. The last time I saw Ronnie was in Sept 09. I was at home driving sitting at a red light on W Queen St. Ronnie was walking across the street. I hollered at him he came up to my car and we talked. I will miss Ronnie.
My thoughts and sympathy go out to his family.

Ronnie was my childhood classmate and friend. He had a smile that would light up the world! I will never forget his joyful spirit and tender heart. When he came back from war forever changed, I wept because of his sacrifice for his country. I'd give him a lift sometimes. We'd talk about family, the good days and taking care. He'd always ask about my brother, Bubba who lives out of town and my Mom who'd treat him to a breakfast biscuit or snack now and then. We loved Ronnie and will never forget him. If we can contribute to a memorial to give the honor he deserves, let friends and the community know about it. May God's love surround you.

It seems like yesterday when my brother would tell me about how fast Ronnie was on the track field and his accomplisments running track. Ronnie was one of those people who communicated with all and anyone, that's how he became one of my brother's friends at an early age (Allen Jones). He had a lot of miles on those legs, now he has a new pair. To the family, Ronnie has just graduated again.

We will truly miss "Tisdale" as we called him in the Wythe area. Ronnie never failed to holla to me "Hey Ms.Gaskill"! I feel comfortable knowing that Tisdale is at rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Gaskill family often extended love and charity to Tisdale, but God has extended the greatest love of all.
My best to the Tisdale family.

Ronnie was a true and faithful soldier. I see Ronnie's passing as him moving home. He has left the tent, the temporary dwelling place that he used here on earth, and he has gone to live in the permanent home that will last forever. He has left his loved ones. However, because of his faith in Christ, he lives on in a new existence where he is strong, healthy, and free of pain.

I will always remember his bright smile and deep baratone chuckle and his reknown phrase "Baby Girl you don't ask a grown man his business." That was one of the last things he said to me the last time I saw him in responce to "Why are you out here this eary and when did you get this chair? What Happened?" He asked me to get him an Arizona Iced Tea and we chatted about GOD and how HE protects him. That was the last Friday I will ever see him and the last chance I could help him out. I know no doubt that Ronnie is in HEAVEN now and doing far better than we are Praise GOD!!!! I will never forget you my friend.

Ronnie was a one of a kind guy. I would see him at the Wythe Shopping Center or the neighborhood Seven Elven where we would always talk about our times growing up together in Dunbar Gardens. He truly was a good person. Rest in peace Ronnie and May God provide his family and friends the strength that they need during their time of bereavement.
