NEWPORT NEWS - Rosalie Oliver Case, 72, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.|
She was born in Appalachia on July 24, 1940 and was a resident of Newport News for three years. Rosalie was a member of Denbigh Church of Christ and was very active in church activities, including Women's Bible Study and other committees. She was a lifelong Tennessee Volunteers and Washington Redskins fan.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Cora Oliver; and brother, Joel Oliver.
Survivors include her sons, Keith and wife, Martha, and James Cameron and wife, Jennifer; sister, Brenda Boggs; brothers, Butch Oliver and Brian Oliver; grandchildren, Tiffany, Elric, Noah, Garret, Amber, Paige, and Serenity; great-grandchildren, Teagan and Kellan.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staffs of The Regency Rehabilitation Center and The Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital, for their patient and compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Denbigh Church of Christ.
