To Roxie's Family:

Vyone McLendon informed me today (September 25th) of Roxie's passing. Unfortunately, I could find no listed telephone number or current home address to mail you a sympathy card. Please accept this email message in its place. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I had worked with Roxie at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center for several years. I remember her as a hard worker, loved working on our office get togethers, and had a good sense of humor. I will remember her with fondness.

To the family, rest assured that Gods knows. He knows how you feel and what it took to call his beloved home. When God calls, we must answer. Sister Tate answered the call of God many years ago, but that special call was made and responded to on Wednesday. Sister knew she was leave behind a precious famliy, not deserting them but leaving them in the hands of a might God. She will be sorely missed. Church, another true born soldier has gone home.

I was saddened to hear "Mrs. Tate" {{{Roxie}}} was no longer with us...but there is an air of peace and joy, comfort, knowing OUR ANGEL is with GOD.

To the family, Your loss is our loss. Your wife and mother inspired many people. Roxie brought comfort and happiness to many students and adults during her brief time at Lindsay Middle School.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will forever be grateful to Roxie for the heart providing support gave my family in the most difficult time of my life. She is the truest sense of what we deem a Real Person. May her family find peace and comfort in the Lord because Roxie is in his hands.
