PITTSBURGH, PA. - On Friday, June 15, 2012, Sarah Octavia Carrington answered the Master's call in Pittsburgh, Pa., and entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sarah was born on Oct. 9, 1988, to Alonzo L. Carrington and Shirley A. Carrington Bellamy in Norfolk, Va. She received her early education in the Hampton Public School System and graduated from Hampton High School in 2007. Thereafter, Sarah matriculated at The Art Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa., and was the recipient of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Digital Media Production and Filming.
Left to cherish Sarah memories are son, Emmanuel L. Ruffin; mother, Ms. Shirley A. Bellamy, both of Hampton, Va.; Mr. Wayne A. Thorne (who was like a father and assisted in raising her), of Suffolk, Va.; and one sister, LaShaunda E. Perry, of Hampton, Va. Additionally, Sarah is survived by three uncles, Willie, Daniel and Vernon Bellamy, all of Newport News, Va.; aunts, Mary Brown, of Hampton, Va., Cookie, Andrea and Sherri Carrington; and paternal grandparents, Alonzo and Octavia Carrington, all of Norfolk, Va.; a host cousins and other friends.
