Shirley MUSSELWHITE Obituary

HAMPTON - Shirley Ann Musselwhite, 75, a native of Charlotte, N.C., and a lifelong resident of Hampton passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
She lived for her children and grandchildren, her passion being getting her family together for the holidays and special occasions.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio Serrano Sr.; and her parents, John W. and Louise Cruse.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Brenda L. Jones and husband, Kenneth, Tammy L. Jeffreys and husband, James; and her sons, Kenneth R. Serrano and his significant other, Cynthia, and Ignacio Serrano Jr. and his significant other, Sonya; five grandchildren, Darrell Hunter Jr., Eric L. Hunter, Alyssa B. Serrano, Amy N. Jones and Kayla L. Jeffreys; four great-grandchildren, Jacob D. Hunter, Michael E. Hunter, Courtney L. Hunter and Jayden L. Jones; her sister, Linda K. Thomas and husband, Herbert III; and nephew, Herbert Thomas IV.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 23, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Parklawn Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum.
