Thelma WILDS Obituary
Mrs. Wilds retired from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company in 1986 after 31 years of service. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Agape Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Warwick Chapter #43.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Sadler of Mathews; and her first husband of 45 years, Louis E. Bradshaw; and her second husband of 20 years, Thomas J. Wilds; her brother, Freeman Sadler; and a great-nephew, Jared Hudgins.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Bradshaw and his wife, Deanie of Brunswick, Ga.; one daughter, Susan B. Felland and her husband, James of Chesapeake, Va.; six grandchildren, Edward Bradshaw, Paula B. Donnally and her husband, Curtis, Andrew Felland, Chase Felland and Elise Felland; one stepgranddaughter, Sherry King and her husband, James of Newport News; two great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Daniel Donnally of Hampton; two step-great-grandchildren, Lindsey Milliman and her husband, Tim and Allen King, all of Poquoson; step-great-great-grandchild, Isabella Milliman; one sister, Christine S. Hudgins and her husband, Fay of Cobbs Creek, Va.; sister-in-law, Laura Sadler of Gwynns Island, Va.; two nephews, Ricky Hudgins and wife, Kathy, and Keith Hudgins and his wife, Chong; and one great-niece, Tara Hudgins.
An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Peninsula Funeral Home. The family will receive friends afterwards until 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, at Temple Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. D. Lynn Hardaway with burial to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may take the form of contributions to Temple Baptist Church, 235 Harpersville Road, Newport News, VA 23601 or Eastern Star, Warwick Chapter #43, Daphene D. Watson Education Fund, c/o Kathy Rary, 6 Staton Drive, Hampton, VA 23666.

Susan, Wayne and families: please accept my deepest sympathy. Thelma was a very special lady who has been especially dear to my family since she married my uncle Tommy. She will be missed by many.

To all of Thelma's family and friends,
I had the honor and great luck to come into both Thelma and Tom's lives several years ago. Almost immediately, they treated me as part of the family. They shared many meals and stories and invited me to a host of holiday festivities with extended family. Thelma was such a loving person who cared for everyone and was so interested in life. All who knew her will miss her. I know I share only a small part of your great loss and offer my prayers to you all. She was such a lady.

Wayne and family, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Take comfort in knowing that she was truly a wonderful person and meant a lot to me. From the Home Beneficial days to just recently when my father passed, she was always there to comfort and be a friend. Porgie
