Thomas HALL Obituary
He was born on June 24, 1924, in Mount Airy, N.C., to Revedie Charlie Hall and Mary Alice Tate Hall. He was the 12th of 15 children.
Tom served during WWII on the Battleship Washington. He was a printing pressman at Sturgis Newport Business Forms. He owned and operated Hall Printing Service. After retirement, he moved to Bedford and owned and operated Hillside Mobile Home Park.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Benton Hall Jr.; a great-grandson, Evan Hall; his parents; five brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Hazel H. Hall; two daughters, Patricia H. Bryant and husband, Blanton, of Bedford, Cynthia H. Akers and husband, John C., of Hampton; two granddaughters, Rachel V. Hall and Angie M. Hall, of Hampton; four grandsons, Blanton F. Bryant Jr. and wife, Meghan, Brandon Payne and wife, Corinna, Jon-Michael Akers, and Colby Phillips; one great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Hall; two sisters, Bertha H. Thomas, and Alma H. Enfield; and a brother, John D. Hall.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Parkview United Methodist Church, 612 Briarfield Road, Newport News.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Parkview United Methodist Church.
