Thomas WALTON Obituary

HAYES - Thomas N. Walton, 85, of Hayes, former owner of Walton's Fireworks in King & Queen County, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 4, 2010, in his home after a long illness surrounded by his loving family.
Born in King & Queen County on May 6, 1925, he served his country in the U.S. Army where he received a purple heart and an honorable discharge.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 36 years, Patricia Walton of Hayes; sons, Thomas Lee Walton, Donald Henry Walton, Tony Lawson Walton of Urbanna, Richard Nathaniel Walton of Whitings Creek, Saluda, Billy Morrisette of King & Queen, Thomas Ray Walton of Hayes; daughter, Christine Walton Loxley of Gloucester; stepdaughters, Ivana Lafata and Michela Lafata of Hayes; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous foster children and his loving C.N.A., Sonja Smith.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Saluda. I saw your dad had passed away in the Urbanna paper. I used to stop and talk with him every now and then. He was always a cheerful person and I will miss him, Sorry for your loss.
