Troy RAMSEY Obituary
Eddie was born in Hampton, Va., and was the son of the late Troy E. and Eunice Dawson Ramsey. Eddie retired from Northrop Grumman, in 2005, after 38 years of service Eddie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by two brothers, Reginald and Leroy.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Erma Wright Ramsey; his daughter, Kathy Langston (David) of Smithfield; and son, Wayne Ramsey (Karen) of Poquoson; grandchildren, Madison and Connor; three sisters, Doris Jordan and Faye Eiting, of Hampton, and Jewel Crouch of Eason, Md.; and one brother, Ted Ramsey of Lynchburg.
A service celebrating Eddie's life is being held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Colonial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roberto Ruck officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Memorial Park. The family and friends will gather from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home for visitation.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 120016, Newport News, VA 23612.
