Violet BLYTHE Obituary
A native of Isle of Wight County, Va., she was the daughter of the late James Madison McGuriman and Tina Bantum McGuriman. She was also predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Melvin Leroy Blythe.
Mrs. Blythe was co-owner of Blythe Farm Equipment and worked faithfully beside her husband in their business until their retirement in 1979.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela B. and Jim Wilson; grandchildren, Joe H. Murphy III and Dwayne L. Murphy; and great-grandson, David Allen Murphy.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at St. Luke's Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Acree officiating.

Angela, Jim and Family - On behalf of Katherine Rowland and the Rowland Family, we were so sorry to learn of Mrs. Blythe's passing. She was a very special lady and my Mom thought the world of her. Didn't realize Mrs. Blythe had passed until today, Sunday, June 6. May God's Love comfort you during this sad time. Lois R. Little

Angela, Jody, and Dwayne,
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Blythe. I have memories of all of us in the neighborhood fishing in the ponds and even an Easter egg hunt in her yard one year. With my condolences.
