Wilbert PICKARD Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood Pickard and Maybell Pickard Ricks.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cherry Pickard; sons, Tracey Jackson (Dena) of Clifton, N.J., Michael Shields (Carolyn) of Hampton, Va., and Rodney Shields (Lori) of Hampton, Va.; step-daughter, Deidre Anderson of Newport News, Va.; five grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A Viewing will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at the funeral home. A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at First Baptist Church Morrison, 12720 Patrick Henry Drive, Newport News, VA. Interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The Pickard family is receiving services of comfort at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton.
