We offer our deepest sympathy. When tragedy strikes and takes the life of our loved ones, many cry out with great sorrow. Your tears are not unnoticed by the Creator of Life. Never was it his purpose for our human lives to be taken away. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, prayer to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible assures us God "is healing the broken hearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." Psalm 147:3

Mr Robinson was a great man. I wish I could have talked to him before he passed. He had a very positive influence on me and my career choices. He will be missed by all he knew. Our prayers are with your family.

It was with great saddness that I read of Mr. Robinson's recent passing. I offer your family my sincere condolences. I was the former student who spoke with Mr. Robinson and your family at Joe & Mimma's on Mother's Day. He was my drafting teaching from 1986-1988. Although I pursued a career in liberal arts, he taught me the valuable skill of reading architectural and mechanical drawings. This has been necessary many times in my job managing two historic houses. He was a great teacher, and I will miss him very much.

Bill is my father-in-law, he was a great role model for me. Showed me how to put family first. He leaves behind a wonderful family, his grandson, Will, was the world to him. Please pray for his wife of 45 years, Marie, and my wife and son. We miss you Bill.

Mrs. Robinson,
I was saddened to read about the death of your husband. He leaves a wonderful legacy of students and many memories. Two of my brothers took his classes, so we were fortunate as a family to know the joy of his teaching and yours!
Wishing you and Lisa peace and strength in your sorrow,
Cathy Meckley Huemer

I was saddened to read of Mr. Robinson's passing. He was my favorite teacher while a student at Menchville. It is because of him I chose the path I did in architectural design. I graduated over 25 years ago, but I never forgot him . I am truly sorry for your loss. He was a very special man. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I am saddened to hear of Mr. Robinson's passing. For three years at Menchville, from 76-79 he called me a 'Thug'...saying it in the most loving and encouraging way possible. He was a great teacher, one of my favorites. His class was the one that I looked forward to attending most...that's no slight to the other great teachers that were at Menchville; but is intended as a compliment to someone that took an interest in me and encouraged me to give just a little more. I am certain that the other guys in the class felt the same way. He will be missed.

Hi Robinson family. My name is Clayton Watkins. I'm a 1978 graduate of Menchville High School and Mr. Robinson was my favorite teacher. While in college I would come back to Menchville every year to visit him and talk to his class. I owe my sucess to Mr. Robinson. When ODU would not accept me he wrote to the school to help get me in. Today I'm a sucessful ODU grad with a degree in Mechanical Engineering working at Northrop Grumman for the past 25 years thanks to him. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
