It was, as is said, a privilege and an honor, to have known Bill...but also great fun and entertaining and educational and heartwarming and fun (that gets listed twice). I have nothing but good memories of my time with the Havens clan.

Dear Havens Family,
My husband Heldur and I were friends with Dodge and Keith at William & Mary (Camm 3rd), and have since met Kirk while living in Gloucester. We'd like to extend our condolences on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. We hope good memories and the love of your family and friends will give you comfort during this sad time.
Wishing you sympathy and peace,
Beth and Heldur Liivak

Ginny, I have stopped by your old neighborhood many times when I was pedaling in Manteo, we now live in Nags Head. I would inquire about you and Bill from one of your neighbors. Even though it has been many years, I can never forget the both of you and how much I enjoyed having you for friends. Please know that you and your sons and their families are in our thoughts and prayers.

I'll never forget his competitive, yet good-natured spirit that he exhibited in everything he did. We will all miss you Grumpy. Happy Easter, it was nice knowing ya
