Wynette THOMPSON Obituary

WILLIAMBURG - Wyndi Thompson, 50, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, at her home following a three year battle with breast cancer.
Wyndi was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend survived by her daughter, Erin; son-in-law Mathew; granddoggies Laney and Rosey; parents, Earley and Irma Thompson; and sisters, Kristin and Cyndi.
A memorial celebrating her life will be held at Yorktown Freight Shed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in her honor to the philanthropic organization Beyond Boobs www.beyondboobsinc.org. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

Wyndi, You were a childhood friend that brought so much fun into my life. I remember going to church with you sometimes and then going over to your parents house. Oh, how we had such fun together. You were truly one of my childhood best friends. Someone I could laugh with. We haven't seen each other in years and have only crossed paths a few times in our adult lives, but you bring a smile to my face each time I heard your voice, it was as thou we were kids again and time had not gone by. You will live in the thoughts, prays and hearts for all those who you touched in our lives. I will miss you. Aunt Irma, Uncle Early, Cyndi, Kristin, and Erin
I am sorry for loss of a beautiful daughter, sister and mother. Some of my fondest childhood memories are the times I spent with ya'll and the love you showed me. Wyndi and I had a blast growing up together, it was as if we were sisters too. I just want you to know she had the best parents anyone could ask for and a great loving family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
