WILLIAMSBURG - Thomas Holt "TC" Capps, 71, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Durham, NC, was a former resident of Nags Head, and was a Williamsburg resident for the past 18 years. Tommy retired as the electrical shop supervisor at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He loved painting, drawing, fishing, shooting, camping, golfing, and cars. Survivors include his wife, Diane Capps of Williamsburg; his son, Troy (Beth), of Portsmouth; two brothers, Roger Capps (Bobbie), of Portsmouth and Freddy Capps of Norfolk; his sister, Nancy Benson (Billy) of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Troy Allan Capps and Falyn Terry; three great-grandchildren, Shayne, Nora, and Addyson; Sister-in-law, Connie Turlington (Woody), of Newport News; nieces; Shannon, Lisa, Amber, Kaylin, Chrissy, Jenny, Toni, Theresa, and Lisa B.; and Nephews, Michael, David, and Beau. A memorial service will be conducted by Dr. Tony Neal at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors.
