WILLIAMSBURG - Robert Lynn Shultis, 89, of Williamsburg, VA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Robert was born on June 30, 1924 in Kingston, NY. He married Bernice Johnson on January 20, 1946 in Rosendale, NY. Robert served his country in the US Army from 1943-1945, with much of his duty spent in Italy. He finished his service with the rank of Sergeant. He was a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in accounting. He had a distinguished career in finance. During his retirement he was a financial consultant affiliated with the College of William and Mary. He also served as a tour guide at Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. He enjoyed his wife's cooking and dining out at local restaurants. He was a fan of the New York Giants. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years, Bernice; his son Robert and wife Kristine and granddaughters, Grace and Julia of Shellsburg, IA.
