YORKTOWN - Hattie M. Waller went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, in Riverside Regional Medical Center. Her life began on November 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Wilson and Lavania Williams, of Yorktown, Virginia. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Margo L. White and her two sisters, Clementine Lewis and Daisy Muse. Mrs. Waller is survived by her brother, Theodore L. Williams; her grandchildren, Chevette Faide (Garrick), Curtis Nelson, II and Torre Randolph; her nieces, Lillian Lewis, Barbara Watford and Melba Giles (Mark, II); her nephews, W. Freeman Lewis and Ronald Muse (Julia); her great-nieces and great-nephews; and other loving relatives and many caring friends. A Homegoing service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 24, 2014, in Shiloh Baptist Church, Rte. 17 and Goosley Road, with Pastor Barbara Lemon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 205 Harrod Lane by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mrs. Waller may be viewed from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday (tonight) in the funeral home.
