Lesley Gray Pasake Obituary
NEWPORT NEWS - Lesley Gray Pasake, age 57, went into the arms of the Lord on June 3, 2014. She was born in Paisley, Scotland and after coming to America at the age of 5, she was raised in Byram Township, NJ as well as Andover, NJ. She graduated from Newton High School in 1975 and married William (Bill) S. Pasake on November 28, 1976. They spent their early married life in NJ and in 1986 Lesley and Bill moved to Bushkill, PA to raise their two daughters. There they had many happy years making memories and lifelong friendships. In 2006, Bill and Lesley moved to Newport News to be close to their Pasake family. Lesley worked at APAC as a customer service representative for the last several years and developed many friendships with those she worked with and for. She was a wonderfully loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She loved family vacations, the beach, being poolside on a warm day, basking in the sun, quilting, music, and doting on her grandchildren. She possessed an abundance of warmth and joy that she happily shared with everyone, and no one could forget her beautiful smile or her adorable laugh. She was a spiritual woman and had a love of gospel music and first and foremost, God's word. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bill Pasake of Newport News; her daughter, Laraine Beltran and granddaughters, Sable and Shelby, all of San Diego, CA; her daughter, Kristine and son in law, Joseph Jarvis, and granddaughter, Kayla Pasake, all of Easton, PA; her brothers, David Kilpatrick and William Kilpatrick; her sister, Sandra Reganess; her sister-in-law, Cheryl Earl; and her brothers-in-law, Jeff Pasake and Richard Pasake. She also has extended family that she loved dearly in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2014 at Weymouth Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
