HAMPTON - Mark Hall Hollis, 51, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at home. Born in Newport News, he was a life-long Peninsula resident. Mark was presently employed as a fork lift operator with Lumber Liquidators. He was a 1981 graduate of Menchville High School, where he was on the wrestling team. He had a wide range of interests that included being an avid golfer, and a big NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed History and watching the Baltimore Ravens. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Will Hollis. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Cray-Hollis of Hampton; his Mother, Wilma Hollis; a brother, Michael; a sister, Debbie; and a host of other extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2014 at Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jim Weston. In honor of Mark, the family requests that all attending please dress casually. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mark's memory to First Tee of the Virginia Peninsula, 41 Old Oyster Point Rd., Suite C, Newport News, VA 23602, or to Menchville High School, Wrestling Team, 275 Menchville, Rd., Newport News, VA 23602.
