HAMPTON - Jean Naomi Boswell Savage entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2014 at the Consulate of Windsor Health care facility. She was born in Newport News previously known as Warwick County, Va., and is a Carver High School Class of 1957 alumni. She was a manager of London Fog Coat until retiring early. She was a faithful member of Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. Savage Sr.; her parents, Naomi Boswell and Charles C. Boswell; brother, Charles C. Boswell Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Aalazia Kylie Taylor. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children, Shauna L. Savage, Earl D. Savage II (Charlene) and Joyce A. Savage; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Hill, Amerson L. Savage, Tre' D. Savage and Aaliayah N. Savage; great-grands and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive visitors and friends at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. A homegoing celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church, 830 - 25th Street, Newport News, VA 23607. Condolences may be sent to the family at O.
