SEAFORD, VIRGINIA - Ida Margaret Holloway, 95, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. Ida Margaret was a lifelong resident of Seaford, and was employed as a bookkeeper with Crockett & Sons Seafood for many years. She was a volunteer at the Waterman's Museum and an avid bridge player. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and the Seaford Woman's Club. Ida Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Holloway; her daughter Myrna Swackhammer; her brother Walter Ivan Cooper; a nephew Walter Cooper and a brother-in-law Benjamin Holloway. She is survived by her sister Audrey Danley; 2 grandchildren, Rene Wakefield and her husband William and Joseph Troy Swackhammer and his wife Row Heydarian; 2 great-grandsons Landon Patrick and Austin Connor Wakefield; 3 nieces Eleanor Simpson, Susan Johnson and Theresa Hintz; and a son-in-law Curtis Swackhammer. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 29, at Zion United Methodist Church in Seaford with Rev. David Magruder officiating. Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. A reception will be held at Zion UMC following the interment. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
