POQUOSON - Maureen Esme Sincoskie, 72, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007. Maureen was born in Croydon, Surrey, England, the daughter of the late William and Ivy James Miller. She was a retired administrative assistant with the Newport News Redevelopment and Housing Authority where she developed a close circle of caring and loving friends who quickly became an important part of her family. She especially enjoyed her outings with her "Golden Girls" luncheon group. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family, including her two sons, John W. Miller and wife, Dee Dee of Dale City, Va.; Robert D. Sincoskie and wife, Victorina, of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two daughters, Martine Sincoskie of Poquoson; Mary Ann Kershaw and husband David of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, William, Michael, Lauren, Ryan, Jason, Scott, Brandon, Wesley, Victor, Carlos and Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Felicity. Known to them all as either Mum or Grandma, she was a source of endless love and support. A memorial service to celebrate Maureen's life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bert Rait.
