Obituary Condolences

HAMPTON - Cleveland Dicker of South Carolina has gone to be with his heavenly Savior on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.
He retired from the City of Hampton. He was a member of Canaan Baptist Church under Bishop S.L. Cutler and sang in the men's choir for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lou Dicker; his daughter, Peggy Dicker; brothers, Thomas and John Dicker Jr.; sisters, Aretha Davis and Virginia Little.
He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; sons, Leroy, Amos, Marion, Darryl and Troy Dicker; brothers, Joseph, Willie and Jerome Dicker; sisters, Evelyn Ryals, Sally Singletary and Loretta Frink; grandchildren, Gene, George, Jerome and Tiffany and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon at Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Elaine Gray. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 47 Fulton Street by 11 a.m. Saturday.
