We were so sorry to hear of Bob's death. I remember him well from our residency days at Maine Medical Center. Then, several years ago, waiting for a plane to Europe, we ran into him at Logan Airport. He was his usual jovial, welcoming self, captured in this wonderful photo of him. Our sincere condolences to the family and to all those whose lives he touched.

I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Caven at McDonald Army Community Hospital, Ft. Eustis, VA. I found him to be a compassionate provider where his patients' health and well being were concerned. I enjoyed working with him. I am so sorry to see of his passing. May God offer you peace and blessings during this difficult time.

I was saddened to read of Dr Caven's recent passing. I served under him in the Family Practice Clinic at LAFB during the period 1992-1993. He was a nice fellow and a good doctor. He was a credit to our profession.
