LANEXA - Norman Randolph Hazelwood, 79, Lanexa, Va., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012.

He was an Army veteran and worked at Colonial Williamsburg, as a tree surgeon. He retired from Camp Peary in 1993. Norman was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a "Jack of all Trades." He had a great love for his family and his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Mattie Hazelwood; and his brothers, Charles, Richard and Forrest Lee Hazelwood.
Norman is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susie Hazelwood; his children Steven Hazelwood (Sylvia), Brenda Webb, Riley Hazelwood (Leesa), Katherine Davis (Dale); a sister, Shirley Parsley (Jimmy); brothers, Ralph Hazelwood (Marlene) and Jerry Hazelwood (Janet); nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A private burial will be held at a later date.
