GLOUCESTER - Audra Elizabeth Walker, 40, passed away on January 12, 2013. She was born October 29, 1972 in Mt. Holly, NJ. In her youth she loved riding horses. She also had a passion for pageants. She was the Former Miss Hampton Holidays and was a contestant in the Miss Virginia Pageant. She graduated from James Madison University and obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Hampton University. She was a registered nurse who loved caring for people both through her work and in life. Audra was known for her happy spirit and thoughtfulness and will be extremely missed. Audra is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Walker; her parents, Bill and Gail Barlow; her brother Michael Barlow, his wife Emily and their daughter Olivia. She is also survived by her In-laws Edward and Cathy Walker and her adoring beagles Coco Chanel and Baby. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM on Thursday, January 17th at Peninsula Funeral Home. A service will be held at Peninsula Funeral Home on Friday, January 18th at 2 PM with the burial to follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
