HAMPTON - Margaret Elizabeth "Peg" Balfour, 82, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 27, 2013. She was born in Watkins Glen, NY on November 23, 1930. She lived most recently in Fredericksburg until she and her husband moved to the The Chamberlin to be near her family. Peg loved nothing more than being around family and friends, playing cards and attending little theatre productions. She had a love for the Chesapeake Bay and sailing. She will be missed by her husband of 58 years, Thurston T. "Tom" Balfour, Jr.; four children, Stephanie Libby (Dennis) of Newport News, Renee Balfour (Jim) of Charlottesville, Kimberly Bennett (Hugh) of Winchester, MA, and Thurston T. "Ted" Balfour, III (Jenny) of Randolph, NJ; seven grandchildren, Saundra Beltz (Rodney) of Newport News, Emma and Eli of Charlottesville, Victoria and Sara of Winchester, MA, and Rebecca and Kayla of Randolph, NJ; and two great-grandsons, Riley and Bryson Beltz of Newport News.
