POQUOSON - Carol Ann Gleason, 75, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, Saturday, July 14, 2007, after a brief illness. A native of the Cleveland, Ohio area, Carol had been a local area resident since 1969. She retired as an RN for the Student Health Service of The College of William and Mary after nearly 20 years of service. She enjoyed a quiet life near her son in Poquoson since 1994. She is the daughter of Celeste Erhart and Arthur Kaiser of Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Charles A. Gleason. She leaves behind to cherish her memory always, her sister, Jane Neville of Morgan Hill, Calif.; her daughters, Colleen Powers of Williamsburg, Va., Cheryl Lunsford of Orlando, Fla., and Cathleen Gleason of New York City, N.Y.; her sons, Charles A. Gleason Jr. of King George, Va., and Christopher A. Gleason of Poquoson, Va., and all of their families and children. She was an inspiration to us all. She exemplified the virtues of tenacity, strong work ethic and the belief that no problem or obstacle is too big to overcome. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her.
