Lonnie Brown Dwyer "L.B." Lonnie Brown "L.B." Dwyer, 73, of Odenton, Maryland, and formerly of Charlottesville, Virginia, died on Friday, October 5, 2012. Cause of death was stage IV lung cancer.

The son of Luna Berry Woody and Melvin Brown Dwyer, L.B. was a United States Navy veteran. He attended Albemarle High School and was a member of the Belmont Boys. L.B. belonged to the Colonial Beach Moose and was a member of the D.C. Hand Dance Club. His passion in life was dancing. He was know as a man who always had a smile on his face and generosity in his heart. He is survived by his life companion, Ranleigh Payne of Odenton; his son, Lonnie Edward Dwyer of Keswick, Virginia; and two sisters, Mary Wetherby of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Patricia Kennedy of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Graveside services will be held 12 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, Maryland. The family will receive friends after the services at the Moose Lodge in Frederick.
