Can’t believe it’s been so many years since we said goodbye. So much has changed in our lives since then. My wife Virna and I have a beautiful baby girl that is now approaching 5 yrs of age. You would love them both as they share your spirit for life and doing well by others. I tell them both often what a wonderful person and grandmother you were. Thank you for watching over us from heaven above. I know that you are happy and walking among the other angels in Gods kingdom. We look forward to seeing you and Dallas down the road, but live life as you would want us all to, to the fullest, in the meantime. Love you so much! Give Dallas a big hug for us!

There are little things that I often remember like you waiting at the door for us to drive up each visit and you waving goodbye until we drove out of sight. I remember the cool nights on the porch and the great stories you shared with me. I remember biscuits and gravy in the morning (still the best yet), but most of all I remember how much you loved us and how very much we loved you. We miss you.

Dallas and Todd, my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Your mother was a sweet woman and a pleasure to have known at UVA. May God bless you and your families.
