Beulah Jennings Obituary
Beulah A. Jennings, 96, of New Canton, Virginia, peacefully passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, in Dillwyn, Virginia.
Born December 13, 1913, in Mount Pilot, North Carolina, she was the widow of Clarence C. Jennings.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Jennings, of Lomita, California; a daughter, Frances "Frankie" Jones of Wingina, Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Jennings, of Lomita, California; a sister-in-law, Ottolene Jennings of Galax, Virginia; a brother-in-law, Everett Cox of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren, Sharon Tyree and her husband, Jimmy, Chrissy Burnley and her husband, Ricky, Thaddeous Green and his wife, Christy, Marjorie Bernoudy and her husband, Scott, Emily Taylor and her husband, Sean; and nine great- grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at the Arvonia Community Cemetery, Arvonia, Virginia. Reverend Jamie Dunn will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at the Colbert Funeral Home, Bremo Bluff.
