Billy Junior Lee

Billy Junior Lee, 75, of Louisa, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

He was born on February 4, 1935, in West Virginia, a son of the late Olli Orlando Lee and Lue Velia Payne Lee.

He was a member of the Gordonsville VFW Post # 7638 and a member of the Model A Auto Club in Richmond.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Dorothy Dease Lee of Louisa; two daughters, Margaret Ann Lee of West Virginia, and Mary Elizabeth Lee of Fairfax; one son, Kevin Wayne "Monkey" Lee and his wife, Jinny, of Louisa; one step-daughter, Lee Barlow of Louisa; two stepsons, Lewey McBride of Louisa and Robert McBride of Maine; two sisters, Bessie Marie Hines of West Virginia, and Shirley Ann "Tiny" Lee of Arizona; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Lee, Charlie Brud Lee and a sister, Mary June Louke.

A graveside funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Lee Cemetery in Kanawha Head, West Virginia, officiated by Pastor David Jesse.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911 or to the Gordonsville VFW Post # 7638, P.O. Box 551, Gordonsville, VA 22942.
