Charles Coty Moore

Charles Coty Moore, 79, of Crozet, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009, in The Village at Gordon House in Gordonsville.

He was born December 27, 1929, in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of the late Mary Hardie Moore.

He was a United States Navy Veteran serving his county during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Janine Moore of Crozet; one daughter, Laura Mary Gasparini and husband, Guillaume, of Gordonsville; two sons, John Charles Moore of Richmond and Christopher James Moore and his wife, Mary Christine, of Broadway; and two grandchildren, John Owen Moore and Sophia V. Gasparini.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Preddy Funeral Home of Gordonsville is in charge of arrangements.
