David Rider Obituary
David Embrey Rider, 40, of Locust Dale, died Friday, September 3, 2010, in Culpeper.
He was born July 31, 1970, in Charlottesville, and was the son of the late Willie Embrey Rider Jr.
Mr. Rider was employed by Cedar Mountain Stone in Mitchells, Virginia.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Rider Putnam and step-father, Glen Putnam, of Locust Dale; wife, Angela Love Rider of Culpeper; a daughter, Taylor Rider; two sons, David E. Rider Jr. and Dustin W. Rider, all of Locust Dale; a brother, Willie Embrey "WE" Rider III and his wife, Kristen, of Locust Dale; a sister, Donna Rider Dyer and her husband, David, of Oak Park; special friend, Michelle Mechowski and her children, Peter Rusyniak Jr. and Nicole Rusyniak.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Preddy Funeral Home in Orange with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Pastor Dwayne Pugh will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, Virginia.
