I took Piano lessons with Ms. Stevenson for nine years, from 1st grade until 10th grade. Naturally, weekly Piano lessons were a significant routiene that I grew up with. I can not begin to express how much I value the gift of music that Ms. Stevenson blessed me with and nutured as I grew up.

To the Family of Mrs. Stevenson,
The joy of her life as we knew her, was her love of music and the people she passed this gift too. She passed this gift to Liz, Mathew and John our niece and nephews. She and her music will be in our thoughts always. God Bless and Keep Her.

I've known Dot for at least 20 years, and sang with her in the Oratorio Society. I always found her to be full of life, energy and good humor. Tomorrow night is the Messiah Sing In at Cabell Hall, and I always looked forward to seeing her there. Dot will be missed by many-rest in peace Dot.
