Ednell Thornton Steed of Thornton Road, departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 10720 Fall of Neuse Road, with interment at the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, the Reverend Doctor J.W. Steed of the home; a daughter, Michelle Steed Ricks and her husband, James, of Raleigh, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Rosabelle Thornton Jones of Raleigh, North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Alvin Steed of Long Island, New York; one granddaughter, one great grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.
