Frances Ferguson Obituary
Frances Marie Drumheller Ferguson, 74, of Faber, died Friday, July 9, 2010.
Born May 3, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. Drumheller and Dorothy Woodson Drumheller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Drumheller and Julia D. Aldridge.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years and eight months, Glascoe Stanley Ferguson; two daughters, Sandra F. Mawyer and Dawn Marie Ferguson, both of Faber; one son, Glascoe Stanley Ferguson Jr. and his wife Debbie, of Faber; a special friend who was like a daughter, Laura Taylor of Earlysville; one brother, Hubert Eley and his wife, Nelly, of Calverton; one brother-in-law, Allen Aldridge of Faber; four grandchildren, Donnie Mawyer Jr., Bobbie Mawyer, Meredith Mawyer, and Logan Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Isabelle, and Therron; and her special children, Katlin, Jade, Alexis, Dylan and Huck.
Frances was a faithful member of Mount Shiloh Baptist Church for over 50 years, holding various church positions while she was in good health. She held many jobs over the years, but her most favorite was as a child care provider.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at Mount Shiloh Baptist Church in Faber, with Reverend John P. Campbell officiating.
The family will receive friends at all times at the residence in Faber.

Frances and the rest of your family have meant the world to us the last 6 years as she cared so graciously for Dylan. We could not have found such a wonderful, loving, caring person to keep him while we worked. Dylan has and continues to be treated as a member of the family and we couldn't have ever asked for more. Frances was a fellow employee of my wife Lillian Jean Mc Afee, of Jefferson National Bank. I was just looking at post cards she and Stanley mailed while vacationing at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Clingman Dome. Said it was 1/2 mile to the top and she was huffin' and puffin' when she reached the top. Beautiful view.
I know she will she Lillian now.
