James Walton Obituary

James Dempsey Walton Jr.

James Dempsey Walton Jr., 65, of Alexandria, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009.

He is survived by his loving wife, Delores Ann (Davis) Walton.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James Dempsey Walton Sr. and Margaret Wilson Beatrice (Agee) Walton.

James leaves behind a wealth of family and friends, his sisters, Patricia Hatton of Colonial Beach, Virginia, and Sandra Everhart of Charlestown, West Virginia; his son, James Dempsey Walton and his wife, Karen, and their children, Amanda Young, Haley Walton and Jacob Walton; his daughter, Teresa Lynn (Walton) Williams and her husband, John, and their children, Bryce, Seth, and Brynne Williams; his great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Ian and Cole Young; and eight nieces and nephews.

James was the president of Krafft Heating and Air Conditioning and A-1 Heating and Air Conditioning, where he worked for over 40 years.

A Life Celebration Memorial will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, Virginia, where a memorial service will be held from 6 until 8 p.m.

James' family would really appreciate instead of flowers, that a donation be made in his name to St. Jude or the charity of your choice.

Uncle Jimmy, thirty five years was to short to say what I needed to say. I Love You, and I will miss you. I will see you when we get to meet again in the presence of our Lord. I know that God will take care of Aunt Ann, Theresa and Jamie and their families. We thank God for you being in our family. You will be missed! And forever in my heart.
