Busick Lohr

Jean Arlene Busick Lohr, 81, of Orange, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Madison County on September 30, 1931, the daughter of the late Perry and Elsie Layton Busick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Victor Lohr; stepfather, Bernie Thacker; and a sister, Margaret Coleman. Mrs. Lohr is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Tusing and husband, Steve; a son, Kenneth Michael "Brother" Lohr and friend, Mary Minor; a brother, Calvin Busick, all of Orange; grandchildren, Stephen W. Tusing and wife, Heather, of Greene, and Michael Brian Tusing and wife, Amanda, of Orange; four great-grandchildren, Isabel Lyrich Tusing, Lyra Day Tusing, Landon Michael Tusing, and Payton Diane Tusing. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Walker's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Madison County. Pastor Tom Barnard will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street in Orange.
