Mrs. Gibson, we are so very sorry to hear of Mr. Gibson's passing. Our recent time spent with him was brief, but he clearly was a very sweet and kind man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless you.

we are so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. We will have you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Look forward to the day when you can think of him again and laugh rather than feel sorrow, because that day will come.

Shirley Gibson & Family
My family and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family.
As you know Johnny grew up with me and my brothers on The Creek Road in Boonesville. Almost every Saturday and Sunday after the chores were done we all gathered across the field from the Gibson house and played softball and football. During 2 summers Johnny, Pete Mc Cauley and I drove into town and Johnny worked at the Midway Cleaners and I worked at Elliot's Ice Company or
the UVA Highway Dept, can’t remember which. Later us brothers, Earl, Floyd, Glen and myself played tri-county baseball with Johnny and boy could he hit the long ball – drove a lot of baseballs into the trees at Earlysville High School. I haven’t seen you folks since my mom died 8 years ago, however I continue to have special memories of our early days living in the country when neighbors helped each other as opposed to today’s way of life. The Gibson family were great neighbors and Johnny will certainly be missed by all of us.
Our deepest thoughts, special memories and lasting love will continue.

To the Gibson Family,
May you find solace in your time of grief. Ms. Gibson even though I've never met you, you were always very pleasant when I would call for John. May the peace of God settle on your hearts and total comfort abound your souls. John was an excellent racquetball player among other hobbies and a very pleasing guy to be around. He will be solely missed!
Sincerely,
