Woodward Family,
I just recieved Joe's obituary via mail from the Hurleys living by you in VA. They knew how much I respected Joe. I worked with Joe at Huffman Koos and was so sorry to hear his quirky sense of humor will no longer be heard. Another beautiful person that will never be replaced has gone to bigger and better places. Thinking of all of you and remember he was always so proud you were his family!

To my best friend Marybeth, her mother Doris, and the entire Woodward family, I wish to express my deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of a great father, husband, veteran, and volunteer. Joe dedicated his life to his family, community, and country. No greater accomplishments can be said of any man.

Fallen
Rest now my fallen brother
Lay soft your suffering back
Rest well and forever
Your memory shall not lack
Rest your tired hands
Wipe clean your weary brow
Rest with St. Florian
Your spirit now endowed
Rest here your breaking heart
We know you gave your all
Rest easy, you've done your part
You've answered your last call
Rest knowing that in god we sought
Oh lord, watch over another who just fell
Rest assured your troubled thought
As we ring the final bell.
