Mary Catherine Dickerson

Mary Catherine Dickerson, 46, of Barboursville, died on Friday April 16, 2010, at her residence.

She was born on December 25, 1963, in Charlottesville, a daughter of the late Carlton and Ann Dickerson.

Cathy attended Union Grove Christian Church and will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her. Especially her little dog, Max.

She is survived by one sister, Patricia Gray of Nevada; two brothers, Robert Dickerson and his wife, Linda, of Ruckersville, William Dickerson and his wife, Phebe, of Ruckersville; three nieces, Wendy, Samantha and Ashley; seven nephews, Kyle G., Robert, Kyle D., Billy, Keith, David and Mason; two special aunts, Edith Chambliss and Margaret Knighting; and a dear friend, Brenda Johnson.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dickerson.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. April 21, 2010, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville with interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at the funeral home.
