Mrs. Wake was my 4th grade teacher at Crozet Elementary, and I'll never be able to put into words how special she was. I sincerely regret that I did not make better efforts to keep in touch with her over the years, but she was and always will be very very dear to me.

Mrs. Wake was my 4th grade teacher at Crozet Elementary-and I'll never be able to put into words how special she was. I regret that I did not make better efforts to contact her as I got older, but she was a dear lady and beloved teacher. And, I know that she will be missed by many, including myself.

Kenna and Willis, my condolences on the passing of your mother, she was one of my dad's favorites. This is Chuck Witt, and I am sure you remember my dad, Charles, whom your dad was a best friend of and your mom taught for. He is currently residing in Mountainside Assisted Living here in Crozet (we are all still here) battling dementia. I would very much like to come to your Mom's service at Rockgate, but may be at a swim meet in Norfolk with my daughter, I am not sure. If I do not make it, I may arrange for my brother or sister to bring Dad. He thought a great of your mother. Take care. Chuck Witt
