I met Mr. Olinger more than 40 years ago when I lived in Charlottesville and we would go to the stock car races. My late husband enjoyed talking to him so very much and he was always willing to spend some time with us after the races. I only have wonderful memories of those days. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that your memories will give you strength.

My heart goes out to the Olinger family . Dick's passing is a great loss to all of us, but I know he must be so joyful now to be with his Lord and with Maxine and other loved ones. We can all learn much from his example of faith and hard work . I'm grateful to have known him and to have shared a little of his music.

I really liked Dick olinger. Always a gentleman and he and Maxine were good friends to me and my family when I came to Greene County as State Trooper. We often talked about racing. Once he told me "what you is what you get".Trooper Clyde E. Byers and Barbara(who now is in the deep throes of alztheimers).
