Robert Davis Obituary
Robert Jackson Davis, 67, went to be with God on Wednesday, January 5, 2011.
He was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Margaret, of 46 years, father and friend to his son, Barry and his wife, Kathy, and granddaughter, Kaitlin, his son, Scott and his girlfriend, Gwenda, and grandson, Parker, and Gwenda's sons, Ricky and Matthew. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Barbara Morris, her children, Theresa, Lisa and Amy and her husband, Roger, and step-son, Larry Snead and his wife, Marie, and their daughter, Tracy; and two sisters, Eleanor Jones of South Carolina and Kathy Jones of Madison, Virginia.
He was a faithful and long serving member of Charlottesville Church of the Brethren, retired from R.D. Wade Builders after 32 years of service and will be sorely missed by many close family members and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011, at Charlottesville Church of the Brethren with the Reverend Tom Williams officiating. A graveside service will then be conducted in Holly Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011, at Teague Funeral Home.
