Thelma Lohr Obituary
Thelma Dodson Lohr, 73, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital.
She was born on September 18, 1936, in Orange County, the daughter of the late Amos and Christine Wolfrey Dodson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Mowry.
Mrs. Lohr was a member of the Lower Rapidan Baptist Church in Rapidan, and was retired from the Orange County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Lohr is survived by her husband, Bryant "Mike" Lohr of Orange; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the Emanuel Cemetery in Rapidan, conducted by the Reverend Paul Kirk and the Reverend Ray Berry.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Madison County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 868, Madison, VA 22727.
