Tony Richmond Obituary
Tony Alfonso Richmond, 67, of New Canton, died Monday, October 26, 2009, in Farmville, Virginia.
The son of Dorothy E. and the late George Richmond, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Richmond; and a brother, Kim Valentine.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Barbara; a son, Fabian Young of New Canton; six sisters, Marian Smith, Sandra Richmond, Jean Jordan and her husband, Bernard, Barbara Richmond and her husband, Stan, Carol Pettus and her husband, Willie, and Kim Richmond; two brothers, George Richmond and wife, Regina, and Kevin Richmond and wife,Sandy.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at the Frances Redwood Center, Route 15, Arvonia, Virginia.
Friends may call at the Colbert Funeral Home in Bremo Bluff, Virginia, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009.
