The Obituary Desk of the Daily Record is open seven days a week. Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, Sat-Sun 11am-5pm. Obituaries must be received by 5 p.m. the day before publication on Monday through Friday, and by 4 p.m. the day before publication on Saturday and Sunday.
Obituaries may be mailed, emailed or faxed. Newspaper policy requires obituaries submitted by family members to include the sender’s name, billing address, phone number, and the name and phone number of the funeral home or cremation service.
Please call to confirm receipt of materials. An obituary is a paid item. Cost depends on length. A price estimate can be offered in advance, if requested. All obituaries are subject to editing. Any questions, please contact us.
